MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDERJesus, Our Only Hope
God tells us in His word, the bible, St. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have ever lasting life.” What does it mean to perish? To perish means to be separated from the presence of God forever in everlasting torment, where the worms die not and the fire is not quenched. – St. Mark 9:46. Live worms are referring to the real consciousness and life of the individual who goes to hell. The word worm is used of man in the bible several times: Job 25:6 Psalms 22:6 Isaiah 41:14 Isaiah 66:24 It has to do with the remorse of the conscience that each person will have over his failure to do what was necessary to escape hell. It is the living conscience, the never dying part of the human being, which will feel eternal torment of fire in the eternal hell. – St. Matthew 13:41-43 Since all humans were born sinners, it is stated in God’s word, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23 Seeing that the wages of sin is death, and the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord, (Romans 6:23), the Lord Jesus shed His blood and died on the cross in our place. If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart we believe unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says, “Whosoever believe on the Lord Jesus Christ shall not be ashamed.” – Romans 9:9-10 Jesus came into the world and the world was made by Him, but the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not; but as many as received him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. If you are not saved, meaning you are not born again, please repent of your sins; ask for His forgiveness, He will save you now. He will make you a new person from the inside out, and you will know it. God bless you Pastor Joseph B. Linton |
